Flash闪烁

The element blinks twice: no movement, no scaling, only brightness jumping. What separates it from a pulse is rhythm, not size — a pulse is slow and looping (“still here”), a flash is urgent and stops after two beats (“look at this”).

When to use it

Use it only when the user must be interrupted right now: a new high-priority alert, an error that just appeared. Never loop it — a flash is the most expensive kind of attention and it only works once. It is also hostile to photosensitive users, so always pair it with a prefers-reduced-motion fallback of a single colour change.

Parameters

opacity 1→0.25→1 · 2 cycles · total 320ms · ease-in-out · each cycle 160ms

Recipe

  1. Flash → opacity 1→0.25→1 · 2 cycles · total 320ms · ease-in-out · each cycle 160ms

One sentence for your AI

Flash this alert twice: opacity alternating between 1 and 0.25, 2 cycles of 160ms each (320ms total) with ease-in-out. Change opacity only — no movement, no colour shift. Then stop; never set it to infinite.
